PR Account Manager
A PR Account Manager will take lead on the delivery of public relations campaigns for their clients.
Supported by the PR Account Executive, a PR Account Manager will be responsible for overall campaign delivery. They will map out step by step actions required to ensure campaign is delivered smoothly and on budget.
Although a lot of the writing is undertaken by the PR Account Executive, the Account Manager will still be involved in writing or at least sense checking the copy produced by the Executives. The role generally requires regular face to face contact onsite with clients as well as delivering presentations as part of the pitch process. A PR Account Manager is also responsible for keeping track of hours worked per account making sure accounts are not over or under serviced.
PR agencies tend to favour candidates with prior agency experience as they will be used to the fast paced work environment as well working across multiple brands.
Salary wise outside of London the role generally pays between £25,000 to £35,000 depending on regional variance and level of experience.
