West Yorkshire is a metropolitan county in England, located in the region of Yorkshire and the Humber with a population of 2.2 million (2014). West Yorkshire is landlocked and consists of five metropolitan boroughs: City of Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees, City of Leeds and City of Wakefield. It shares its borders with Derbyshire, Greater Manchester, Lancashire, North Yorkshire and South Yorkshire.
