Brand Communications Officer – 12 month FTC

Rugby – 2 days office/3 days home

£34,000 - £38,500 + excellent benefits

This is a lovely role for a talented communications specialist who would like to work for a fabulous charitable organisation based in Rugby.  The business offers legal, emotional and financial support to its members nationally.

The role of Communications Officer is all about creating engaging communications that will raise awareness of the brand and engage with members to encourage them to access the support available.  You will be an ambassador for the brand and will create fantastic pieces of communications to publish externally, internally and through PR.

Here’s an over-view of what you will be doing:

  • Responsible for delivering brand communications pieces that will raise awareness and humanise the brand.
  • Continue with communications around the company re-brand to drive engagement.
  • Look for opportunities to create external communications pieces such as case studies, testimonials, building relationships with influencers.
  • Work collaboratively with the content producers and social media teams to ensure all comms are consistent and deliver brand advocacy.
  • Develop relationships with the people and culture team and support on internal communications messaging including newsletters, employee bulletins, management of the intranet.
  • Work with the PR agency to manage all PR activity and campaigns and ensure the media relations strategy is delivered.

What experience is needed?

  • In depth knowledge and experience of communicating a brand position and purpose.
  • External and internal communications experience and PR.
  • Knowledge of digital and offline communications channels.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder management experience.

This is an exceptional role and requires someone who is available to start middle of February ideally.
