Business Development Director, Oxford, Up to £55k (12 months FTC)
Pitch Consultants are supporting a specialist strategic communications agency. They have a maternity cover opportunity in their Senior Management team which is a crucial role to the agency’s growth. The Business Development Director is responsible for identifying new and growing existing business relationships in a strategic and results-driven manner.
As the Business Development Director you will be…..
- The commercial lead for the agency with the ability to spot new business opportunities and secure them effectively.
- Responsibility for the new business strategy, hitting targets, tracking revenue and analysing business projections.
- Implementing and designing a lead generation strategy which will be brought in-house.
- Presenting and pitching the agency to new clients and developing new company credentials.
- Motivating the team to hit their targets.
To be considered for this role, you must have….
- Experience working in a business development or commercial role within an agency environment. Ideally, you will have experience and knowledge of the travel industry.
- Excellent knowledge of the internal functions including PR, Digital, Social, Design etc and undeniable understanding of how agencies operate.
- Excellent pitching and presenting skills, great communication and a motivational and inspiring approach.
- A high performance mentality.
