We are recruiting for a Category Manager on behalf of one of our clients in Worcestershire - they are a market leading retail business who are looking to grow their team due to continued success.
“What would I be doing on a day-to-day basis?” - Fairly important question right?
  • The ownership and management of a range of key categories (plumbing and heating would be advantageous).
  • Ensuring that sales, margin, and profit expectations are achieved.
  • Maximising category performance with hands-on involvement in pricing, availability, ranges, and suppliers.
  • Developing and enhancing relationships with suppliers.
  • Regularly undertaking Product and Category range reviews.
  • Reviewing competitors and understanding market trends to identify new opportunities.
  • Collaborating with the marketing team by suggesting commercial initiatives to ensure product performance is continually enhanced.
