Leading more junior members of the category and marketing teams. “What sort of person is your client looking for?” - as our client is a family run organisation, it’s essential that the personality fit is just as strong as the skillset ... therefore, our client wants: A minimum of 5 years’ category management experience. Experience in multi-category FMCG or traditional plumbing and heating purchasing. A keen eye for spotting opportunities and market trends. A skilled negotiator and relationship-builder with a proven track-record of growing revenue and margin. A highly positive, enthusiastic individual who can work independently to drive new and existing categories. A strong sense of urgency and time management skills to prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment. Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to react quickly to changes. A commercial, flexible and "customer first” approach. CIPS qualified to Level 4 (desirable).
