Pitch have partnered with a UK leading property development company in Birmingham who are looking for a Content Manager to join their marketing function in their Birmingham office. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Content Manager to join the central marketing team, working across numerous brands within the property, travel/lifestyle and finance sectors.
The successful candidate will be well versed in creating content in a variety of formats and have a strong grasp of SEO best practice. Due to the nature of this role requiring work across a number of brands simultaneously, the ideal candidate will likely have an agency background or be used to working in-house in a multi-brand capacity. 
Key responsibilities:
  • Working with the wider marketing team to build and maintain the website presence of key brands, specifically through the development and implementation of a comprehensive content plan, incorporating SEO and different content forms such as: blogs, articles, guides, evergreen content. Video editing ability is a bonus.
  • Actioning an effective outreach programme, in line with PR guidelines, to boost SEO, brand visibility and maximise content reach.
  • Ensuring full integration with the social media strategy to increase outreach and maximise engagement.
  • Accurate and timely reporting with insightful, actionable commentary to drive KPIs and improve ROI.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with external media, blogs and other stakeholders who are of benefit to the overall content strategy.
  • Establishing good working relationships with key company stakeholders.
Person Specification: 
  • Ideally 4-5 years’ demonstrable experience in a similar content role, ideally from agency side or a comparable fast-paced environment.
  • Good interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills.
  • Ideally experience in creating content for the property, finance and lifestyle sectors.
  • Self-motivated and able to work autonomously.
Experience within property or financial services is advantageous, but not essential. Travel over to other offices, including London, would be required.
