Our client is a leading leisure and tourism business based in Coventry. They are looking for an Email Marketing Assistant to join the Digital team on a 9 month fixed term contract (as maternity cover)- this has the possibility of being extended to 12 months.
The successful candidate will report into a Senior Email Marketing Executive and work very closely with the wider SEO, Content and Marketing team. As a sizeable organisation, the nature of the business requires a dedicated position to be responsible for sending targeted emails to promote the various products and services it has to offer.
Key responsibilities include:
Writing content for targeted emails
Designing, building and sending email campaigns
Monitoring email performance
Updating email marketing schedules and requests
Supporting the Senior Email Marketing Executive with daily activities and admin
Liaising with internal stakeholders to understand briefs for email
Researching the industry and competitors
This is a great opportunity for somebody on a short notice period who has a minimum of 6 months experience in a Marketing or Communications department. You should have excellent writing skills and be happy with proofreading email campaigns. From both a written and verbal perspective, a strong level of communication is essential and in taking email marketing campaign briefs from senior members of the team, a good level of confidence is also required. Experience of HTML would be desirable but strong writing skills and a positive, mature attitude is crucial.
