Freelance PR Account Director | Interim
£300 - £400 per day

Birmingham / Remote Pitch are supporting successful & growing brand consultancy who are seeking the interim support of a PR & social specialist. You’ll have experience developing new brands across FMCG (in particular alcohol brands), in addition to the beauty and technology sectors.As an individual you’ll like to challenge the norm when it comes to your PR & Social ideas, not always thinking laterally and traditionally. This is an opportunity for a creative individual to develop opportunities outside of the conventional ways. In doing so, you must be confident to challenge the norm but be challenged also!
 
Responsibilities:
  • Develop PR & social media strategies in help achieve each brands objectives.
  • Manage a social media & content professional to establish strong and powerful messages, targeting the right audience. 
  • Working with key stakeholders, help develop strategy, research and create ideas which achieve an integrated & wholesome approach.
  • Offer tactical PR solutions within each clients industries.
  • Handle all press enquiries, writing copy or content which will be used across emails, social, website, paid advertising and presentations.
  • Maintain & develop a network with the most effective journalists, influencers, stakeholders and thought leaders on a national scale.
  • Offer reporting on all PR & social campaign activity, identifying the pro’s & con’s.
  • Help monitor social community engagement.
Requirements: 
  • 5yrs+ PR or communications experience.
  • Excellent digital understanding of social media & digital channels.
  • Excellent & proven client management skills working with senior level clients.
  • Demonstrable experience working within FMCG, in particular alcohol brands, health, beauty & technology. 
  • Possess a creative mindset, and the ability to generate innovative ideas & solutions.
  • Proven press & key media/influencer relationships on a national scale. 
  • A passionate and enthusiastic individual, with the ability to multi-task.
  • Proven experience managing large budgets and delivering ROI & KPI’s.
  • Excellent managerial skills.
This role is purely to support the business on the interim whilst they search for a permanent member of the team. You’ll be there to support full-time, helping to manage and mentor individuals and help deliver plans at a critical stage for the brands.
