Pitch are supporting a full-service marketing agency in the North West who are looking to bolster their development team with an experienced Laravel Developer.
Their technical offering has increased over recent years and they create complex builds in Laravel. This is a brilliant opportunity for an experience Laravel developer to come in and make this offering their own. You’ll be involved in taking the lead, scoping out project builds, estimating timelines and developing tech specs supporting account handlers.

Key requirements:
· Extensive experience in object-oriented PHP & Laravel framework.
· Excellent understanding of MVC design patterns.
· RESTful API design & development.
· Basic level understanding of front end web development such as HTML5, CSS3 & JavaScript.
· Fluent in source control such as Git or other similar source code management tools,
· Strong ability to write clean & maintainable code.
· Stay immersed in the world of web development. Knowledge of the latest trends & technologies and is passionate about creating immersive experiences.
· Experience building SQL and designing Databases (desirable).
· Understanding design principles (desirable).
· Comfort with Test-Driven Design & Agile software methodologies.

· Create & follow technical specifications.
· Developing and testing reusable code to agreed project deadlines.
· Help establish development processes with the senior developer.
· Integrate code with other technologies such as, but not limited to REST Web Services, CMS / Commerce systems and 3rd party APIs.

· 3+ years commerce experience with PHP / Laravel Development.
· Understanding of WordPress CMS.
· Experience working on large complex marketing projects / websites.
· Similar experience working within a busy environment across multiples projects.
· High attention to detail.
· Communicate effectively with key internal stakeholders and also clients in a clear and concise manner.
· Passionate about the products you build and the world of technology.
·
