Pitch are currently partnered with a family owned retail company based in Derby who are currently recruiting for a Lead Front-End Developer to join their team. The company has shown successive positive growth year on year and is really excited for their future success. With their growing headcount and consumer reach, they require a driven and skilled digital team to work on updates and changes on a day to day basis. Due to the number of employees and support staff in the business, the development team work to provide regular management and development of websites and in-house systems. 

 

 

As a Lead Front-End Developer, you will be responsible for the following:

 

+ Be confident in your skills, leading by example to influence the front-end technical strategy.

+ Managing the development lifecycle, ensuring robust solutions that are both secure and testable.

+ Contributing to two teams within an agile environment using SCRUM.

+ Using front-end technologies such as HTML5, SAAS and Flexbox.

 

To be considered for this role, you will have experience working in a similar role within a large, fast paced organisation, ideally in a leadership position. You will also demonstrate a collaborative approach and excellent problem solving skills.
