Pitch are exclusively partnered with a market leading business who are recruiting for a Marketing Director to join their team. Our client specialises in providing training and apprenticeship programmes across the UK. 
The main purpose of this role is to develop and manage the marketing and stakeholder activity of the business in order to support the growth of operational divisions. You will be responsible for developing and implementing integrated marketing strategies to advance the company’s reputation and contribute to growth.
You will take a lead role in brand strategy, development and compliance, providing robust communications and strategic campaign planning and delivery which is data driven, effective and supports the overarching business strategy.
Reporting to the CEO, your responsibilities will include:
  • Leading and coaching a team of four marketers to support their professional development and build modern marketing capabilities 
  • Being responsible for all aspects of people management within the marketing team.
  • Performance managing all members of the team to deliver outstanding individual and team results, including undertaking monthly performance review meetings with direct reports.
  • Ensuring unified messaging, consistent branding, and collaboration across all marketing and communication strategies.
  • Managing and driving brand and media planning, events and experiential marketing, performance marketing, content and social media, account-based marketing and insights and analytics.
  • Building relationships with, and managing a diverse group of stakeholders across a complex landscape on an ongoing basis.
  • Managing external communications to raise the brands profile and image with stakeholders.
  • Developing and managing the company's marketing strategy.
  • Researching and analysing market trends, demographics, pricing schedules, competitor products, and other relevant information to form marketing strategies.
This role would suit a Senior Marketing Manager looking to take their next progressive step, or a current Marketing Director looking for their next challenge. If you have experience within the education sector, that would be highly advantageous. 
This role would be based out of the clients’ offices in South Birmingham 2 days per week with the rest of the week working remotely - you must live within a commutable distance from the offices in Birmingham.
