A leading organisation within the financial sector, who're based on the outskirts of Birmingham city centre, have recently gone through some exciting change and require a Marketing Operations Manager to report into the Marketing Director.
The role of Marketing Operations Manager will see you work across campaigns, communications and financial promotions. It is required to drive effective outputs in order to achieve KPIs in line with the wider business strategy. The role will have constant interaction with the wider business departments such as sales, events, ops, propositions, financial etc.
Recruit, develop and retain a Marketing Operations team to drive business growth
Develop a Marketing Operations strategy
Develop and maintain framework to manage the financial promotions service
Develop the team to work across all brands
Design a Communications strategy to drive brand awareness and engagement
This role is instrumental to the business and requires somebody who has natural leadership and mentoring skills. You should be from a Marketing Communications background and ideally have worked within the financial sector, particularly financial promotions. A minimum of 4 years within this sector will hold you in good stead for the main skills. You will also need lots of stakeholder management experience both internal and external - this is key for the recent business changes and a requirement to influence and develop.
This is a big role and requires somebody to come in and hit the ground running.
