A fantastic opportunity has arisen on behalf of a growing fintech organisation in Lancashire who are looking for a Sales Director to join their team.
This is a pivotal hire for the business, which will be working closely with the Managing Director to scope the continued growth of the business. You will be second-in-command.
This role will suit an experienced Sales Manager who is looking for their next step up. You will be a proven sales person who is capable of leading and motivating a sales team. You must be able to demonstrate that you have continuously achieved or exceeded sales targets, individually and as a team.
You will be responsible for a team of circa 7 sales staff and will be the escalation point for any queries, whilst monitoring progress of individuals and highlighting any development areas needed. You will be an influential leader with experience in getting the best out of people.
Sounds good right? What will I be doing day-to-day?
  • Monitoring daily KPIs ensuring that targets are met (or better yet, exceeded!) by the team.
  • Day-to-day management of the sales team.
  • Motivating the sales team and consistently encouraging using leadership skills.
  • Manage performance via monthly 1-2-1s, company values and annual approvals.
  • Working with the MD, to develop and deliver the company's sales strategy in line with the 5 year vision, purpose, mission and values.

  • Strong coaching and mentoring skills and the ability to adapt management style.
This role will be predominantly office based. The team are in the office 5 days per week, so it is important for you to be leading the team in the office - the client can be flexible when considering office hours and there can be exceptions for home working.
The package for this role is very impressive. They are paying a salary of up to £75k and can offer a 10% car allowance on top of the basic salary. The earning potential is also uncapped - realistically you can be earning up to £150k OTE.
It is worth mentioning that you will be walking into a role that can enable you to start earning a bonus from day 1, with an immediate, impressive commission structure in place.On top of this, the company have a canteen which you can use every day free of charge!
