Pitch is working exclusively with a leading PR and communications agency based in Birmingham city centre to help them to recruit a super talented Senior PR Account Executive or Junior PR Account Manager for their growing team! This agency has seen phenomenal growth over the past twelve months and has expanded its team steadily throughout that time and they are continuing to expand due to business development.
This business works across a broad range of clients in various sectors including food and drink, professional services, finance, education, public sector, property and charity. They have a client base brimming with exciting brands and are doing some great work both regionally and nationally. A team of around thirty five people across different specialisms, they spend their office days in a beautiful space with state of the art facilities and they offer a really flexible approach to home/office working long term. Culture really is key for this agency – they have shared goals and values and genuinely love what they do. They actively encourage professional development at all levels and offer an individual training budget to support this aswell as an annual weekend away, 25 days holiday and flexible working.
As a Senior PR Account Executive you’ll be working as key part of a team who are exceptionally talented, creative and have a highly collaborative approach. You’ll report into an experienced Account Director who is big on personal and professional development and has a really nurturing approach.
Within this role you’ll be:
- Liaising with clients, taking briefs and helping to come up with campaign strategies.
- Writing compelling press releases, features and thought leadership pieces.
- Pitching stories to the media and building exceptional relationships.
- Working on a client base focused on professional and financial services, with an international remit.
The agency’s high profile and varied client base means that you’ll have the opportunity to work on a huge range of campaigns; from solving complex business challenges to raising brand awareness and managing crisis comms - the variety within this role means no two days will be the same.
This agency is looking for a super sparky PR and communications professional with an in-house or agency background that’s looking to join an agency with excellent opportunity for progression and development. Experience wise you need to:
- Be experienced in professional services or financial services.
- Be a fantastic copywriter able to write short snappy content and long form pieces.
- Love media relations, building relationships and securing coverage.
