Pitch are recruiting on behalf of our client; a digital and creative agency, based in Stockport. We are looking for a Senior Web Designer to join their web team. This is a fresh role within the business, after continued success throughout 2018.
The agency likes to break the mould of the typical and traditional 'agency model'. They are finding new ways of working, collaborating and ensuring their clients' are at the forefront of everything that goes on.
Working closely with Front End Developers, the successful Senior Web Designer will be responsible for designing exceptional websites that incorporate user experience. Furthermore you must be able to demonstrate experience in the following areas:
- Understanding and interpreting a client brief to design a website that exceeds expectations based on solid site architecture
- Wireframing and prototyping for bigger more complex projects
- Creating amazing visuals through the use of expert knowledge of Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD After Effects)
- Responsive and adaptive web design via bootstrap grids
- Theoretical knowledge of HTML, CSS, Wordpress, jQuery, and UI/UX to ensure that design is aligned with development
- UX / UI to improve customer journey, engagement and ROI through effective design
We're looking for candidates that have 3+ years agency background and someone that wants to be part of a very collaborative team. Candidates should have a portfolio full of well crafted websites.
