Our client, a growing business based in central Birmingham are expanding their Marketing team. The company offers the full utility service to the public and they are recruiting for a PR Executive to be responsible for raising the brands profile both internally and externally.
This role of PR Executive will support the Marketing Manager with the development and delivery of effective marketing communications whilst ensuring it stays on brand. It requires somebody with solid press office experience to ensure you have a solid understand on what channels to use to ensure business growth.
Responsibilities will include but not be restricted to:
- Writing press releases
- Writing content for digital channels including social media
- Identifying new press opportunities both local and national
- Ensuring all brand literature is portraying the correct message
- Work on internal departments literature
- Agency liaison
- Sourcing news stories - getting out in the field
This PR Executive role does require somebody with a minimum of 2 years experience. This is due to it being a new position so they need somebody who can hit the ground running.
