Job Description

A leading UK professional services group is growing and is on the look out for a Corporate Communications Executive to join their team in Birmingham. The business has had some fantastic growth opportunities in the past few years and is in a great position within the market. They cover a huge range of industries and continue to develop in this way.

The role of Corporate Communications Executive will sit in the wider Marketing and Communications department which is about 25 people. The role will support the Corporate Comms team in delivering the internal, external and investor comms activity. Due to the organisation being a group, there are multiple projects happening at one time. This role will require project management, production of high quality written copy and developing stakeholder relations.

Some of the key responsibilities:
* Take briefs, research and draft press releases, internal news stories, blog posts and maximise their impact in all levels of press
Drafting speeches for internal stakeholders for key external events

* Maintain and develop good relationships with key target media liaising with them on a regular basis both in person, via the telephone and social media
* Organise and attend media briefings/press events and relevant networking opportunities
* Support the Group internal communications strategy including feeding into internal publications, video and audio messages, content for internal conferences and messaging for team briefings
* In the event of any potential crisis, this person may be key in press liaison, drafting holding statements, internal communication messaging and managing social media
* Work with the Digital Marketing team to monitor and support the Group's social media activity, including blogs, LinkedIn and Twitter
* Support the Group internal communications strategy including feeding into internal publications, video and audio messages, content for internal conferences and messaging for team briefings
* Research and edit internal publications and Group-wide communications
 
Apply today if you have 3 years + experience within a PR and Communications department and have worked within Corporate communications. If you have worked within a large corporate, ideally Professional services or Financial services but the corporate comms is key.
