An exciting new role has been created at a Birmingham based Charity within the Marketing communications team overseeing and growing their digital channels, increasing engagement and driving traffic to the website and other digital channels, whilst growing online income.
The successful candidate will act as the charities in-house digital expert with an outstanding track record of being a digital brand ambassador and leading on all things digital. The successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge and experience of current digital trends and tactics and be able to advise on digital approaches and strategy direction to help us deliver our overarching strategic objectives. Working closely with the department lead and wider marcomms team, you will be responsible for delivering the strategy and handling the day to day for all digital activity.
You will play a crucial role in implementing key digital development projects and digital communications campaigns whilst working with the wider marketing communications team to deliver integrated campaigns and messaging. The post holder will be proactive in identifying opportunities to improve our digital processes, championing excellence in digital and ensuring that both brands excel in their digital communications.
You must have solid experience of digital marketing and communications, be an excellent project manager and have strong interpersonal skills to work with the team internally and manage suppliers externally.
You must also have experience using various online tools to deliver campaigns (Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Pay Per Click (PPC) etc). The ability to use and update several content management systems is essential. Design skills and working in InDesign / Photoshop / video editing skills are also desirable.
