Fabulous opportunity for an experienced, driven and creative Marketing Manager to join this leading media owner in the West Midlands as Head of Marketing.

As Marketing Manager you will be responsible for getting the brand in front of key audiences via fully integrated marketing activity across all media channels, from above the line, to below the line, to digital and social, to partnerships with targeted 3rd parties, with the primary objective of increasing brand visibility, awareness and audience share.

We're looking for a Marketing Manager who's a true self-starter, who brings a creative approach, a commercial mindset and proven experience of building strategic marketing partnerships with closely aligned 3rd parties. You'll also need to be confident in developing and managing new and existing marketing ideas and events / experiential activity; creating innovative commercial partnerships and working closely with multiple internal departments to ensure successful delivery of a wide variety of brand projects.

Experience across the marketing mix is essential and it's important this this includes digital media channels (in particular social media) to extend brand reach and deepen relationships with their core audience. The role will involve a significant amount of running events and experiential marketing activity, so experience on this side of things is also essential. Broader activity will include generating ideas and copy for use across a variety of marketing channels including PR, social media, web content, email content and B2B communications amongst others.

Any experience of working for a media owner would be great, but applications from other fast paced, highly consumer oriented sectors are just as relevant and an injection of fresh thinking would be brilliant. What is important is a keen interest in popular culture and media - in particular radio.

We're looking for someone who's a natural relationship builder who's able to quickly build a strong network of external partners across the West Midlands. It's therefore important that you're highly organised with excellent communication skills, as well as having experience of managing close knit teams.
