Our client, a leading UK retail traders merchants is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join the business on a 10 month contract.
This role of Marketing Coordinator is required to cover a maternity leave and is predominately working on offline Marketing material within the team of 5. This role is to support new retail stores and local market initiative to drive sales and increase store footfall.
Key responsibilities will include:
Develop and deliver marketing initiatives
Support on brand requests for POS, trade events, local advertising, billboards etc
Supporting the Marcomms Manager with new store launches and campaigns to sort these
Checking and approving artwork for marketing
Briefing and coordinating the work of external agencies
Obtaining competitive quotations for creative, print and media
Budget control and maintaining a record of individual campaign costs.
Due to this being a contract, the business requires somebody to come in with solid experience and a hit the ground running attitude. You should have experience of the full marketing mix, including radio, press and outdoor media. You should be happy multi tasking, booking media, and fantastic communication style both verbally and written.
The team needs somebody proactive, positive, creative and productive.
