Account Executive in Berkshire

Account Executive

An Account Executive in an agency, whether it’s an advertising, integrated, design or brand agency, tends to act as the day to day contact for the clients. Working under the guidance of the Account Managers the Account Executives will ensure work is delivered to the client on time and address any questions and issues as and when they occur. They will understand the clients’ needs and objectives, and relay that information to both the  account handling team and the studio.

Account Executives might also deal with suppliers such as media agencies or printers, obtaining quotes and bookings. They will ensure all updates are documented for internal and client use.

Suitable candidates tend to hold higher education qualifications, preferably within design or marketing. However, work experience is the most effective way to help secure this role. Employers like to see candidates with internships or work experience either during or following education.

Agency environments are fast paced and often long hours where you have to pick things up quickly. So showing extra willingness and eagerness by taking up work experience goes a long way. Salary wise outside of London the role generally pays between £15,000 to £19,000 depending on regional variance and level of experience.
