This is an exciting opportunity for a PR & Content Manager to join a leading property and logistics company based in Birmingham. This is a brand new role within the business following continuing growth of their marketing and comms teams. Experience within property and or logistics in a PR/content capacity is advantageous, but not essential - our client will consider applications from other sectors. Working within the comms team, you will be required to identify news and story-telling opportunities and create a broad range of compelling content that can be applied across our client’s traditional and digital channels. So, what will you be doing? Good question… Developing and executing an effective communications strategy which meets the objectives of the business and its business units. Sourcing and writing press releases, newsletters, blogs, and other digital and print materials, that will resonate with the company’s target markets. Keep the company website relevant through fresh and current content to include news stories and case studies. Use marketplace insights to develop written and visual marketing content that engages existing and potential customers. Develop and manage an annual content calendar. Ensure all content is on brand and consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice. Devise and implement a social media strategy for the business. Respond to messages, comments, and mentions on all platforms. Sounds good right? Ideally, these are the qualities our client is looking for… Ability to write high quality content - strong written skills and story-telling capability. Proven track record of designing and executing successful public relations campaigns. Ability to develop content that is consistent with the company's brand voice, style and tone. Ability to manage multiple projects. Excellent working knowledge of all social media channels. Ability to create content and deliver it through traditional and digital formats including video. In terms of experience, a relevant degree would be advantageous, whether that be in Journalism, Communications or Marketing, but our client would need you to have experience in a PR & Content focussed role for them to consider your application. The position comes with benefits such as a car allowance, free parking and generous annual leave entitlement.Interested to hear more? Let’s have a chat! My mobile number is 07375 544618.
