Digital Content Manager
The Digital Content Manager is responsible for all content being distributed through all digital channel that it be website content, email marketing or social media.
They will work closely with senior members of the marketing team and stakeholders to map out a content plan which is in line with company activity and objectives.
The role will require the Content Manager to collate as well as produce content adjusting style depending on platform. In some organisations the Digital Content Manager is supported by Content Executive who will write most of the content. However, the Digital Content Manager is the brand guardian, checking that everything that goes out is on message.
The Digital Content Manager will have a strong understanding of SEO making sure content is optimised. They will be aware of emerging online trends and how best to identify and engage with the desired audience.
Through analytics and performance reports, the Digital Content Manager will be able to put forward recommendations for best practice and improves campaign performance.
To be considered employer look for candidates from a digital communications/PR background that it be from an in-house or agency environment.
Salary wise outside of London the role generally pays between £35,000 to £42,000 depending on regional variance and level of experience.
