People of the Midlands prepare! On 13th November 2015, the most prestigious PR awards ceremony comes to Birmingham…

Pitch are delighted to announce that we’ll be sponsoring the CIPR PRide awards – for the ninth consecutive year!

With 21 categories in total, from Best use of Social Media, to Internal Communications Campaign and Outstanding Independent Practitioner, the Pride awards are the most credible regional awards in the public relations industry. These awards aim to recognise and reward outstanding work across nine UK regions; they are a celebration of exceptional talent and a reflection of public relations best practice and only the highest calibre of experts are selected to judge the awards.

As Sue Bailey, Managing Director of Gough Bailey Wright said, “A CIPR PRide Award is one of the most prestigious honours in the industry, representing real recognition for the fantastic work produced every year.” – this is an accolade to be treated with the utmost respect, and an achievement to be truly PRoud of!

This year we’re particularly excited about the awards as Pitch’s very own Ollie Purdom has the privilege of being on the judging panel for the Young Professional of the Year. Recognising and developing young talent has long been a passion of ours; a key reason we set up the B-Hive initiative back in 2009.

Here at Pitch we believe that winning a PRide Award demonstrates the value of your work to your clients and truly marks you out as an industry leader in your region. The highly commended winners are presented their awards at the dazzling UK-wide awards events, which are major (and always fabulous!) calendar highlights for the industry; CIPR Midlands Pride Awards 2015 will take place at the impressive Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham.

Standard entries for the PRide awards are now closed, however late entries are accepted until Wednesday 17th June (pssht! Quick, hurry and you can still be considered for an award!). The shortlist will be announced on Friday 17th July.

We wish all entrants the very best of luck and look forward to seeing you in November!

Agencies and practitioners located in Derbyshire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire, Rutland, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire, and West Midlands are eligible to submit applications for the CIPR Midlands PRide Awards.
