Our client, a leading charity in the centre of Birmingham is recruiting for a Marketing Manager which sits in the Fundraising team. Initially this is a 12 month FTC which is highly likely to go permanent. The role of Marketing Manager is key in leading on marketing strategies, and giving direction to the whole of the Marcomms department.
The successful applicant will be managing the delivery of campaigns and projects, working closely with the department to deliver effective and integrated communications activity.
A few of the key duties for this role include:
Writing and delivering strategies
Working on multichannel campaigns
Leading the Marketing and Communications department
Advise the Director of Fundraising on all campaigns across marketing, brand, fundraising etc
Line manage 3 people
Develop the charity's brand
Manage agencies
Lead on projects, from planning to execution and then evaluation
Develop media relations
Stakeholder management
The successful candidate will be a bright, natural communicator and approachable with substantial experience in all areas of Marketing. You should be confident in managing a team, have experience in leading reactive and proactive media relations. The individual applying should also have strong integrated campaigns experience ideally in a B2C environment.
The position of Marketing Manager in this organisation does require you to advise and liaise with the board and be persuasive with business decisions. Therefore you should have highly effective interpersonal skills both verbal and written.
