We’ve all seen the rigorous process Lord Sugar and his aides put recruits through on the Apprentice and although it may not be the toughest interview your candidates will ever experience, you need to ensure that when you hire you’re getting the best talent in the industry.
Interviewing someone for the first time can be a daunting process. It may not be that long since you were in their shoes, but to give you every chance of finding a star candidate you’ve now got a chance to pick up some invaluable tips.
On 26th June, Pitch will be teaming up with the CIPR to offer anyone who’s new to the interviewing process or who simply wants a refresher, the chance to pick ours brains about how to get the best out of job applicants. Covering everything from deciphering their CVs, asking the right questions and dos and don’ts, to what candidates are looking for and how to sell your organisation to them in an increasingly competitive recruitment market.
The session will also look at guidelines for using social networking sites as a recruitment tool and how to get the best out of it. The session is open to anyone within the Marketing, PR and Creative industries and will include a Q&A session and a chance to network afterwards.
