We're looking for an experienced Social Media Account Director to join a phenomenal agency right in the heart of Manchester. Based right in the city centre, this leading agency is a force to be reckoned with. They seek a Social Media guru who can come in and hit the ground running and fortify their already talented ranks.

This is an extremely exciting opportunity for an experienced social pro to work on social media activity for an ever-growing list of brands and clients. Obviously you'll need an expert knowledge of social platforms, what's hot, what's not, and what's likely to be hot very soon. You'll be confident creating content, developing social strategies and will have an excellent understanding of this consistently evolving sector.

If successful, your key responsibilities will include creating multiple timely and engaging forms of campaigns for high profile clients. You must be prepared to advise clients on all aspects of social media, including emerging new platforms, therefore it's essential that you keep abreast of all the latest digital trends - you'll have a naturally insatiable appetite for the latest developments in the social media world and how you can make these work for your clients whether its in a b2b or b2c market.

To be considered, you'll need a proven background of delivering social media activity, be it in-house or an agency environment; you must be a strategic thinker with strong team management skills. Development and coaching experience along with a savvy commercial streak.

Working closely with the Head of Digital you will be a key part of the digital department, acting as the right hand man and hugely involved in the development and progression of this department.
