It’s been a manic couple of months so you’ll hopefully forgive us a somewhat belated post to recap on some of the extra-curricular activity we’ve been involved with in the final quarter of 2013. Now that we’re entering the festive season, it seemed like the perfect time to do so.
We’ve always been big believers in supporting the industry we recruit for, whether it be spotting and developing new talent through our B-Hive initiative, conducting industry research and presenting thoughts on hot topics, or sponsoring events.
Recent highlights include our sponsorship of the Fresh Awards 2013 at which we presented our research in to employer branding. Much to our delight, it seems this was well received as we’ve since been invited to present at two MiNetwork chapter meetings and a CIPR event. Result. We also continued our association with the CIPR at the recent PRide Awards, where we once again raised money for our nominated charity Teenage Cancer Trust. Our raffle raised just shy of £900 and being the charitable lot we are, we’ve decided to double it and round it up to £2000. A huge thank you to everyone who joined in to support such a worthy cause.
To add to the frivolity and air of celebration at both Fresh and PRide, we took along our photo booth, together with random prop box, for everyone’s entertainment. Last but by no means least, we also won Marketing Recruitment Agency of the Year 2013 at the MiAwards, which we're all extremely proud of. Good work team.
